What Noise? – Hear & Be Heard Fund

The brief: To raise fund for Hear and Be Heard Fund
The challenge:
To let audience experience deafness online
The solution:
Three micro games that is minimalistic and educational

This was a project for the Hear and Be Heard Fund when I started my career at Kinetic. The initiative aimed to empower underprivileged individuals with hearing impairments by providing access to hearing aids.

I was tasked with pushing the boundaries of what was possible on the web—to do things differently. While I initially considered a straightforward, informative approach, I chose instead to create an expressive, experiential journey. The idea was to let people experience deafness first hand. I cracked the code by designing three simple yet powerful interactive games that simulated the daily challenges faced by those with hearing loss.

Back then, experiential digital work was still a rarity—which made this approach all the more groundbreaking. The response was overwhelming: the website was widely acclaimed, and the fund experienced a 400% spike in donations that year. A creative risk that paid off in every sense. I’ am the sole creator, creative, art director and programmer for this piece of work. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise 😉
